two hand collection

Outdoor Furniture

Two Hand Collection officially started when I built this outdoor seating for my wife as a birthday present. I had done other work before but this one she loved so much she asked if she could posted on social media.  In reality building this was not even the plan I was supposed to be building a bbq island but realized that we needed to have some seating to rest ourselves while the food was cooking and thus out of nothing came a full patio of furniture.

Indoor furniture

Once the temp in AZ got to hot to work building outdoor stuff and we were in the middle of COVID, I turned my passion inside and started asking my wife what else she might like around the house. that was a loaded question and things like this sprung up out of nothing.

3-D Modeling

August of 2020 I had a table saw accident where I lost part of my thumb and during the recovery time I had to keep my mind busy since I could not use both my hands. I had been interested in doing 3-D modeling for build designs but never took the time to learn how. During that downtime it was the perfect opportunity to bone up on that different modeling tools and find one that I, (1) liked, (2) was within my price point and (3) easy to use as an industry standard.

It was not hard to find, I learned the basics pretty quickly and during that time since I could not build all the items that were on my work board I started modeling them and sharing the models with clients to approve before any material were purchased or cut.
